Slow Lane Wednesday – Osterley Park, Blue bells and more – Wednesday 8th April 2026 – 10:15

Out to Osterley on the Piccadilly line
Return from Boston manor also on the Picadilly line
Drive . It is possible to park at Osterley free to NT members and make your way to the coffee place independently

We will walk from the station through a back gate into the park and make our way to the coffee house. Fortified by coffee we will go into the private garden to see the spring flowers. Entry free to NT and RHS members. After this we will walk across the park around the lake to the pub for lunch. After lunch there are some options
1)Walk back to osterley car park if you came by car
2)Walk to boston manor station along a pretty woodland path-distance 2 miles. The path has some steps and can be slippery if wet so sticks essential
3)Walk back to Osterley station
It is the same distance from the pub to either Osterley station or Boston manor station but the Osterley path is flatter

This is an opportunity to get some grass under our feet and with any luck see some blue bells
Osterley is quite local for many LWG members so if you want to join us for some of the walk it is feasible.See comments below Dogs welcome. Just let me Bronwen know
